This character is named 'Nanaya Shiki'.
She is based on 'MELTY BLOOD Re.Act/Re.Act FinalTuned/Act Cadenza Ver.A/Act Cadenza Ver.B.

I made her for Windows version M.U.G.E.N.
Therefore, she does not work on DOS version M.U.G.E.N.

This character is customized based on Toma's 'Nanaya_T'.
And I already obtained approval of customizing it from him.

Well, I will explain for you how to play Nanaya Shiki'.

(1)What mode is installed this character?

This character is classified into '5' modes.

You can make it change to an arbitrary mode by selecting the item from 'Posed Menu'.

Or you can make it change that on the file of user settings.(Nanaya_AI(-2,-3).st)

I will explain 'Posed Menu' on (3)the 'Posed Menu' & Select the Menu.



(1)Re.Act mode

(2)FinalTuned mode

(3)AC Ver.A mode

(5)Immaterial and Missing Power mode


Default mode is (3)AC Ver.A mode.

You can make it change that on the file of user settings.

(1)Re.Act mode
* Based on 'MELTY BLOOD Re.Act'
* Delete 'Nomal Shield', 'Dodge' and 'Circuit Spark'
* Can use 'Shield Counter'
* Magic Circuit system is based on Re.Act.

(2)FinalTuned mode
* Based on 'MELTY BLOOD Re.Act FinalTuned'
* Delete 'Nomal Shield', 'Dodge', 'Circuit Spark' and 'Shield Counter'
* Magic Circuit system is based on Act Cadenza.

(3)AC Ver.A mode
* Based on 'MELTY BLOOD Act Cadenza Ver.A'
* Can use Act Cadenza system (ex. Circuit Spark, 'Dodge' and etc...)

(4)AC Ver.B mode
* Based on 'MELTY BLOOD Act Cadenza Ver.B(b2)'

(5)Immaterial and Missing Power mode
* Based on 'MELTY BLOOD' and  'Immaterial and Missing Power'
* Added some attacks of 'Spell cards'
* Delete system for Act Cadenza(ex. 'Nomal Shield' and 'Dodge')
* But can used the system only 'Circuit Spark'

  <>Dodge<>

AC Ver.A, Ver.B : Tap 2A+B or 2X on the ground
Other modes : can't use

* Dodge the other party's attack


  <>Super Jump<>

All modes : Tap 1 or 2 or 3, then 9

* Jump further than usually


  <>Air Recovery<>

All modes : While in the air, press any button after hitstun ends


  <>Shield<>

All modes : Z

The character parries the attacks of the other party and the damage are adjusted to 0.
On a successful EX shield, you will gain 5% magic circut, strip the impact hitbox from the move you shielded,
and are free to use any attack after a few frames.

In AC Ver.A/Ver.B, if you hold D for more than five frames, you will go into a normal shield.
But you can't make to move Last Arcs on the way.


  <>Shield Bunker<>

All modes : 214 + Z

The character parries the attacks of the other party and she also attacks.


  <>Shield Counter<>

Re.Act, IaMP : Moment when succeeding EX shield, 236 + Z
Other modes : can't use


  <>Critical Hits<>

All modes : Happens random on all attacks

When it happened, the screen reddens temporarily, and the attacks are stronger than usually.


  <>Damage Reduction<>

All modes : Tap A, B, C, and/or Z at the point of impact.

When other partners attacked, and if you just pushed a button then,
the damage is reduced.


  <>Blowback Edge (Held Move)<>

All modes : Keep pushing the button by a specific attack

Some attacks changes the attack power depending on length to which you
push the button.
(I write as 'BE' by the following explanations.)


  <>MAX<>

All modes : Obtain 300% of Magic Circut

Max mode is automatically activiated once a character obtains 300% of magic circut.
A character's Arc Drive is available.
In this mode, their magic circut meter starts to gradually deplete until it empties,
at which time the meter goes back to normal with 200% magic circut.
Arc Drive will use up all of the remaining meter, and only return 100% magic circut upon completetion.


  <>HEAT<>

Re.Act : When Magic Circuit is more than 100%, 222 + Z
FinalTuned : When Magic Circuit is more than 100%, A + B + C or Y
AC Ver.A : When Magic Circuit is more than 100%, A + B + C or X
AC Ver.B : When Magic Circuit is more than 100%, A + B + C or Y
IaMP : When Magic Circuit is more than 100%, 222 + Z

This mode is similar to an effect of MAX.
The major change is that you slowly regenerate health while in Heat,
for as long as the character has both red health and Heat meter remaining.
However, you always leave Heat with no magic circut, regardless of if the character uses their Arc Drive or not.


  <>BLOOD HEAT<>

Re.Act : When Magic Circuit is MAX, 222 + Z
FinalTuned : When Magic Circuit is MAX, A + B + C or Y
AC Ver.A : When Magic Circuit is MAX, A + B + C or X
AC Ver.B : When Magic Circuit is MAX, A + B + C or X
IaMP : When Magic Circuit is MAX, 222 + Z

This mode is also similar to HEAT.
Arc Drives done in this mode also have different properties, usually doing more damage and having less startup.
Last Arcs are also available in this mode, done by performing a single EX shield on the ground.
Be careful, as the pre-super flash Last Arc startup can be cancelled by another shield attempt (so do not mash like a monkey).
A successfully activated Last Arc ends Blood Heat and leaves you with zero Magic Circut.


  <>Circuit Spark<>

AC Ver.A, Ver.B : Tap A+B+C or X while in Max or (Blood) Heat mode while in hitstun on the ground.

A character uses all of Magic Circuit and does a complete unrivaled counterattack.
After you used, Magic Circuit becomes 0%.
You can use only AC Ver.A/Ver.B mode.


  <>Arc Drive<>

All modes : When Magic Circuit is MAX or HEAT or BLOOD HEAT, input the specific command

This is a strong Special Attacks that uses all of Magic Circuit.
When you use it on BLOOD HEAT, the Attack is stronger.(Another Arc Drive)


  <>Last Arcs<>

All modes : When Magic Circuit is BLOOD HEAT, succeed EX Shield

When you succeed EX Shield on BLOOD HEAT, Last Arcs is exercised automatically.
After you used, Magic Circuit becomes 0%.

Re.Act, IaMP : 6C or 4C (near an enemy)
FinalTuned, AC Ver.A, Ver.B : 4A+D or 6A+D or 4X or 6X

A character throws an enemy.


  []Dash/Run Towards[]

Re.Act, IaMP : 66
FinalTuned : 66  or  6Y or 6A+B
AC Ver.A/Ver.B : 66 or 6A+B

A character dashes toward on the ground.


  []Dash away[]

A character jump.
If you push 7, it jumps away.
If you push 8, it jumps up.
If you push 9, it jumps toward.
You can use it twice in 'Nanaya'.

AC Ver.A/Ver.B : 66 or 6A+B

A character dashes toward in the air.

(3)the 'Posed Menu' & Select the Menu

When the character is fighting, if you push the button 'start', the 'Posed Menu' appears.
The movement of time and the character stops while being opening this menu.
This is the 'Posed Menu'.

It moves to each item of menu when moving it to the vertical direction of the joystick.

And when horizontally moving it, each mode can be changed.
I will explain each item displayed in the image.



1) Exit

If you push the button 'A', the menu is closed and reopens a game.

2) Game Balance
You can change the game systems.
'Re.Act' is Re.Act mode, 'FinalTuned' is FinalTuned mode, 'AC Ver.A' is AC Ver.A mode,
and 'AC Ver.B' is AC Ver.B.

3) Sound Settings
You can change the effect sound to use it in the game.
'PC' is the effect sound of Re.Act, and 'Act Cadenza' is the effect sound of Act Cadenza.

Even if 1) Exit is not selected the menu can be shut by pushing the buttons by all items.('B', 'X', and 'Z')



You cannot use this menu by default, but you can use it by the following methods.

<1>You copy the file of 'Nanaya_AI(-2,-3).st' in the folder, and you paste to other place.
This is backup so please keep it carefully.

<2>You open the 'Patch' folder.
Please check whether there is 'Nanaya_AI(-2,-3).st' in the folder.

<3>You copy the all files in the folder, and you paste them in 'Aoko_Aozaki' folder.
There is already the same file and please overwrite them.

That's all.
When you think that this menu is unnecessary, it returns to the original condition
 if it starts overwriting the file that you backed up.





+++ About IaMP mode +++

Before the character fights, this menu is opened on only 'IaMP mode'.

I will explain each item displayed in the image.


Posed Menu



1) Select the item of the mode
It moves to each item of menu when moving it to the vertical direction of the joystick.
And when you push 'start', the item is decided.
You have to decide each upper and lower item.
If you don't operate anything, it is decided at random.

2) Spell Cards Power
This is the gauge point sysytem of only IaMP mode.
Some skill use this power.

(6) How to change A.I. level

In this character, difficulty of CPU (A.I. level) can be easily changed.

Now the kinds of CPU is 9.

1) LV.0
It is the easiest CPU.

2) LV.1
It is easier than LV.2.

3) LV.2
It is normal CPU and it is default settings.

4) LV.3
It is more difficult than LV.2.

5) LV.4
It is the CPU same as 'Nanaya_T'(100%).

6) LV.5
It is more difficult than LV.4.

7) LV.10
It is more difficult than LV.3.

8) LV.13
It is more difficult than LV.5.

9) LV.20
It is the CPU for practicing.



You can change it in the following way.

(1)Open 'Nanaya_AI(-2,-3).st' using. 'notepad.exe', etc..

(2)Find the item of 'Artificial Intelligence Level' using the search engine of 'notepad.exe', etc..

(3)When the item of "Value = **" being written below soon is found, you rewrites the number as
follows. 



Value = 2

Key

Value = 3


As a result, the difficulty of CPU is changed.

In the file of user settings(Nanaya_AI(-2,-3).st), you can set the several items without (6)How to change A.I. level.

1) System Direction

* Aura
You can change the blue or gold aura that appears in MAX mode, HEAT mode and BLOOD HEAT mode.
If you change the value high, the aura is more beautiful.
However, if you change the value higher, you overwork the computer more and more.

* Shadow Effects
You can change the shadow effect of the Cutin, EX Edge and etc..

* Power gauge of Magic Circuit
You can arbitrarily select whether to make Power Gauge displayed or not to do.



2) Game Balance

You can set the initialization of the game system in all modes.
This setting is effective until the setting is changed by "Posed Menu".
After you set, only the setting of 'Posed Menu' becomes effective.
You can select one from among some modes : Re.Act mode, FinalTuned mode,
AC Ver.A mode, AC Ver.B mode, and IaMP mode.
If you use the trigger of "Palno = ", it is possible to change to a mode different in each color palette.



3) Sound Settings

You can set the initialization of the effect sound in all modes.
This setting is effective until the setting is changed by "Posed Menu".
After you set, only the setting of 'Posed Menu' becomes effective.
You can select one from among some modes : PC mode, and Act Cadenza mode.
If you use the trigger of "Palno = ", it is possible to change to a mode different in each color palette.





<>Supplementation<>

If you don't need 'Posed Menu', you also can delete it in the following way.

(1)Open 'Nanaya_AI(-2,-3).st' using. 'notepad.exe', etc..

(2)Find the item of '[Statedef -3]' using the search engine of 'notepad.exe', etc..

(3)When the item of "PosedMenu" being written below soon is found, you rewrites it as
follows.
